The Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) hosted a seminar on the topic of Disruptive Arbitration: Role of the Legal Profession at The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok

On 30 May 2019, Mr. Sarawut Benjakul, Secretary-General of the Office of the Judiciary, assigned Mr. Pob Ekaraphanich, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the Judiciary, to perform as a president in the seminar hosted by the TAI on the topic of Disruptive Arbitration: Role of the Legal Profession at The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok. There are 330 participants from various legal professions joined the seminar, such as Arbitrators, Judges, Prosecutors, including Legal Officers from both the public and private sector.

In the morning session, we were discussing about the Disruptive Arbitration: Role of the Legal Profession, which has Special Professor Wichai Ariyanantaka, Senior Judge of the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court, Special Professor Jayavadh Bunnag, Managing Director of the International Legal Counsellors Thailand, Mr. Surasak Vajasit, Managing Partner of the Rajah & Tann Asia (Thailand) Limited, together with Dr. Pornpat Tantikulananta, Executive Director of the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) and Judge of the Office of the Supreme Court performing as joint lecturers in the seminar.

In the afternoon session, Mr. Jose Cabral, Designer and Creator of the E- Arbitration System, was demonstrating the E- Arbitration System for the participants and the TAI staffs, which will be available soon.
