Academic Seminar for arbitrators on the topic of "Challenges and Techniques in Managing Disputes in the Arbitral Proceedings”image

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM, at the Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada, the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) organized an academic seminar for arbitrators on the topic of "Challenges and Techniques in Managing Disputes in the Arbitral Proceedings." The seminar was honored with the presence of Mr. Thiratai Charoenwong, Secretary-General of the Office of the Judiciary, as the opening ceremony's presiding guest, and Ms. Kamonchanok  Katinasamit Judge of the Office of the President of the Supreme Court and the Executive Director of the TAI, who address the report on the event.

The first session featured a special lecture by Professor Vichai Ariyanuntaka, an advisor to the TAI, on the topic "Opening Perspectives on the Challenges in Managing Disputes in the Arbitral Proceedings." This was followed by a discussion panel on "Challenges and Techniques in Managing Disputes in the Arbitration Process," with distinguished speakers including Mr. Somchai Julniti, Mr. Rattakarn Boonneua, and Associate Professor Dr. Munin Pongsapan, arbitrators. The panel was moderated by Ms. Danaya Tangdhanakanond, Chief Judge of the Office of the President of the Supreme Court.

This seminar served as an important opportunity to enhance knowledge, exchange experiences, and develop essential skills in arbitration dispute management. It also provided guidance for arbitration practitioners in addressing problems and obstacles that may arise during the arbitral proceedings, with a focus on maintaining neutrality and independence, thereby supporting a transparent and efficient arbitration process.
